Chronic obstructive respiratory diseases (CORD) can lead to severe morbidity and mortality, but they are preventable. Spirometry is the keystone for diagnosis but is not widely available in Viet Nam, especially in primary health care system. Development and validation of a questionnaire to screen the CORD (CORD-SQ) in the general population in Viet Nam play an important role. The application of the CORD-SQ in primary care effectively identified individuals who required spirometry, thereby facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of CORD and helping to prevent clinical progression. How can we develop and validate the CORD-SQ ?
